About Us
The New York Community Legal Aid Center was established by iLead Line Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing legal assistance to individuals and communities. Our mission is to ensure the realization of legal fairness and justice, with a particular focus on protecting the rights of low-income and vulnerable groups.
We have three service centers located in Flushing, Brooklyn, and Chinatown in Manhattan, making it convenient for local residents to access timely legal aid. Additionally, we collaborate with various community organizations, including the QiYang Cultural Center, the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association, and the 8th Avenue Chinese American Association, to better serve the community.
Our mission covers the following areas:
-
Providing legal consultation and assistance to individuals in need, addressing their practical legal issues;
-
Promoting legal education to raise public awareness of legal rights and responsibilities;
-
Actively advocating for social justice and the development of the rule of law, maintaining a fair and equal legal system.
In terms of organizational operations, we are led by an experienced Board of Directors and Board of Trustees, ensuring transparency and compliance in policy-making and financial management. Our funding comes from government grants, public donations, and legal fundraising activities, and we undergo regular audits by professional accountants to maintain public trust.
The New York Community Legal Aid Center believes that everyone should have equal access to legal support. No matter what legal challenges you face, our team is dedicated to providing professional and reliable assistance. Join us as we work together to build a more just and equitable society!
